When is the best time to invoice?

According to an ARO2C survey, one-third of the participants bill the customer prior to or on the day goods are shipped or services delivered; 20 percent bill the day after; and 15 percent do not send an invoice until more than five days after shipment or delivery.

Best practices for most industries is to bill when goods are shipped or services delivered. Avoid delays in billing.
